And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever

Daniel12:3

Today most people likes to shine for themselves.But here Bible says who are going to shine in heaven.God created stars to shine for ever.so it always shine.Each stars shines the brightest in the place and positions God has ordained for it.They shine whether it is cloudy or bright;rainy or hot,winter or spring,day or night.It never dim or put out light in different seasons or situations.

Believers should shine like stars in all aspects of life because God has ordained it.You are the light of the world Matthew5:14.Whether they are in happy or sad,in wealth or poverty,disease or healthy,in youth or old age,in trials, stressful and tribu-

lations,whether considered or ignored,whether nurtured or chastised,in all conditions we should shine for Lord Jesus Christ.We should shine for His glory not for our glory.we should shine inorder to get His likes not for the likes and thumbs up of others.Matthew5:16.

Here who all are going to shine in heaven?Two categories going to shine in two levels.One,those who are wise shine as the brightness of the firmament (expanse of the heaven),and two,those who turn others to the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ,that is His salvation will shine like stars for ever and ever.O What a blessing!'Wise' means not worldly wisdom.but the one who have been saved by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by accepting Him as the Lord and Savior is counted as wise in the sight of the Lord.others were counted as wicked.Are you a wise one or wicked?Then,are you shining brightly for your saviour or for others likes?Are you shining brightly for the Lord Jesus Christ or are you left as a dim light?

Divine task of a grandma and mom

 2Timothy 1:5

"When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also"

I wondered when I read this verse,how a young man Timothy became spiritually matured enough to be sent by an old and well experienced Apostle Paul,to be the minister of the  Ephesos assembly.Remember at that time the church is phasing some serious issues(1Tim.1:3,4).False teachers doing harms to the Ephesos church.So Paul send Timothy to oppose the false techings.And Paul giving him instructions to teach the different categories of members how to live,behave and walk in the church(1:15,2Tim.2:15-16and he must study and show thyself approved unto God,and rightly dividing the word of God. we can read in(2Tim.3:15)that child Timothy had been taught and firmed in the doctrines of salvation and grown in the divine knowledge and wisdom by his devoted grandmother and mother.We can read first his grand mother heard the gospel believed and accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord,then his mother, (1:5)didn't mentioned anything whether his father accepted Jesus or not.(acts16:1,2)or may be he died earlier.Anyway his mother taught him the Bible,take him to the church so he got good reports from the brethrens at Lystra and Iconium.Here Paul  testifying the genuine faith he had seen in his grandmother and mother.and  he confirming also in Timothy that strong genuine faith.why?because Timothy from his childhood had seen this faith in his grandmother and mother.Then the question arise towards us.Do we have genuine faith that our children and grandchildren can see and learn from home?.Lois and Eunice not only believed but lived in that faith.They dwell in Jesus Christ raised their child in spirituality.Let us also strive together to mold our next generation in divine knowledge and wisdom and in genuine faith.And we will be praised by our savior,"she had done what she can".This is the most precious evangelism,to mold the younger generation in spirituality.Let us begin our gospel work first from our home.
